Memorial Marker Dedication Ceremony

Chapter member, Bob Lucas, in coordination with the Ohio History Connection and the Buckeye Wing Association, has scheduled a tentative date of 1330 hrs 21 April 2018 at Denver Williams Park in Wilmington, OH for the dedication of a stone marker that memorializes the C119 crash of 1964 when 17 airmen and SF Green Beret troops were killed in a mid-air collision during an airborne operation. Dan Hessler has volunteered to serve as Chaplain for the ceremony. Jack Heist volunteered to play taps and provide a modest color guard.
